  • Business Development Specialist

    The Business Development Specialist will be a highly motivated, communicative self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources. Responsibilities include relationship building with prospective clients, qualifying and prioritizing new leads, initiating sales through outbound calls, and conducting research on new prospects. The position will also assist with data management, reporting, and analysis.

    Essential Duties:

     Develop new business opportunities via cold calling and electronic communications

    • Understand key buying influences of law firm decision-makers and become familiar with firms’ structure and practice areas
    • Collaborate with Business Development Manager to grow the sales pipeline with highly qualified leads
    • Work with Client Managers to ensure an ideal handoff of any new opportunities

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business/Communications or a related field, 1-3 years of proven telemarketing or inside sales experience, and advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.   • Project Services Coordinator

    The Project Services Coordinator serves a critical support function within our Sales & Expert Witness Service Delivery team. This individual must be a reliable and organized self-starter with a high level of positive energy and excellent conversational skills.

    Essential Duties:

     Coordinate all aspects of active search projects while juggling multiple deadlines

    • Prepare and edit written communications with a strong attention to detail
    • Effectively liaise with clients, expert witnesses, and internal search team
    • Perform administrative project duties, including data management and scheduling interviews

    Candidates must have at least 3 years’ experience in a professional support role. Legal industry experience is a plus. Must be proficient with MS Office products and type 55+ WPM.   • Director of Sales

    The Director of Sales provides day-to-day support and positive leadership to the Client Managers (CMs) while monitoring and driving sales. They will work closely with upper management to ensure alignment on revenue generating activities and collaborate with service line leadership to promote best practices for client satisfaction.

    Essential Duties:

    • Lead Client Management team with focus on coaching and career development
    • Direct and support strategy, approach, and relationship planning for targeted clients, including some in-market travel
    • Develop annual sales plans, facilitate sales meetings, provide regular training, and conduct productivity reviews

    Role requirements include 7-10 years of sales related management experience, preferably within a professional services, consulting, or legal organization at the director/executive level. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.   • Researcher

    The Researcher’s primary responsibility is to source qualified experts and consultants to work in support of our clients’ major litigation cases. The ideal candidate is a creative and critical thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle many time-sensitive projects. A Researcher must also understand technical, scientific, and business topics.

    Essential Duties:

    • Determine expert requirements based on client feedback and case summaries
    • Conduct advanced internet research to gain understanding of project subject matters and identify potential expert candidates
    • Perform case summary analyses and maintain expert database

    Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience in research/sourcing, and advanced knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.   • Expert Witness Recruiter

    The Expert Witness Recruiter works collaboratively to find the best possible consultants and expert witnesses for our clients. This is a fast-paced, relationship-driven role with a strong focus on motivating team members and consistently delivering excellent results.

    The ideal Expert Witness Recruiter is reliable, organized, and skilled at both written and verbal communication for a diverse audience. Must have a high level of positive energy and be able to grasp legal, scientific, and business concepts.

    Essential Duties:

    • Inspire team members and drive recruitment activity
    • Collaborate with Client Managers to determine case requirements, interview experts, deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts
    • Prepare written business proposals and candidate summaries
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with little direction

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years’ experience in a recruiting, sales, or related position. Legal/consulting experience is a plus.   • Associate Trial Consultant – Oakland, CA

    The Associate Trial Consultant is a team player who helps manage projects in the development of persuasive visual trial presentations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

    This role may require the ability to work late nights/weekends on short notice and occasionally travel. IMS is committed to employees achieving  work-life balance which addresses the demands of the job.

    Essential Duties:

    • Support case teams on a wide range of tasks while performing quality checks and ensuring that deadlines, resources, and budgets are allocated appropriately
    • Organize, coordinate, and administer all resources and activities with seamless service throughout the case
    • Prioritize projects, meet deadlines, work efficiently, and identify inconsistencies

    A bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 2 years’ experience in project management is required. Must be proficient with MS Office products, including PowerPoint.   • Trial Consultant – Dallas, TX

    The Trial Consultant collaborates with external clients and in-house teams to conceptualize and create effective visual presentations for trial. They will organize and implement all project resources and activities while managing and exceeding client expectations.

    The ideal candidate will be an insightful, creative, and proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a high level of customer care. This role may require the ability to work late nights/weekends on short notice and occasionally travel.     Essential Duties:

    • Work with clients and case teams to distill complex issues and key themes into successful visual strategies for litigation
    • Collaboratively develop ideas and analogies, sketch design concepts, and execute revisions with strong attention to detail
    • Prioritize work from multiple cases and anticipate conflicting deadlines
    • Actively maintain project costs and staffing levels based on fluctuating client needs
    • Develop and maintain client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals

    A bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project management is required. Must be proficient with MS Office products, including PowerPoint.
