Graphic Design Expert Sully Ridout’s advanced visual storytelling skills bring case narratives to life and enable decision-makers to fully absorb complex arguments. For almost a decade, he has been creating compelling illustrations and interactive graphics for notable hearings and trials held across the nation. Much of his work at IMS involves production of digital presentations for intellectual property cases related to topics such as cellular technology, industrial equipment, internet security, and product manufacturing. Significant cases on which he has worked include Adaptix v. Sprint, Intellectual Ventures v. AT&T Mobility, and Broadcom, et al. v. Amazon.com. Sully specializes in creating presentations for Markman hearings and leads the animated tutorial department.

For the ten years prior to joining IMS, Sully was an art director in the architectural hardware and interactive advertising industries and his work was honored with creative awards such as a W3 award and two Davey awards. Sully has produced websites, games, and mobile applications for some of the most recognizable consumer brands in the country, including American Airlines, Anheuser-Busch, Universal Pictures, Microsoft, Nabisco, and LEGO.

Sully’s education in fine arts and architectural background has allowed him to create precise physical models for his present-day Am Law 200 clients. When not in the courtroom, Sully spends his time participating in the local Dallas art scene. His artworks have been displayed in galleries and shows around the DFW metroplex and he contributes pieces annually to charity art auctions that support local creative organizations. For the last ten years he has donated his time as the designer for the Peep at the Coops Tour, a chicken coop tour that raises funds for local elementary school science and agriculture programs. Sully lives in a mid-century home in Oak Cliff, Texas, with his three dachshunds and two cats.
