Stacey Jordan

Senior Trial Consultant

Since 2006, IMS Senior Trial Consultant Stacey Jordan has been helping litigators hone case themes and relay those themes through powerful visual imagery. Although it seems counterintuitive, the process of turning complex concepts into simple visual stories requires intense mental concentration. Stacey dedicates tremendous energy toward this task because she knows when jurors understand fundamental concepts, they are more likely to side with her clients.

Stacey has contributed to law firm successes in intellectual property, labor and employment, contract, real property, antitrust, and copyright and trademark infringement disputes.

Prior to joining IMS, Stacey held positions as an associate art director in the Los Angeles office of a trial consulting firm and a litigation graphics specialist at an Am Law 200-ranked law firm. She assisted firm attorneys with graphics for Disney Enterprises, et al. v. VidAngel, in which the defendant was ordered to pay $62.4 million for violations of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act—one of the largest jury awards of statutory damages (on a per-week and total basis) in a mass-infringement copyright case. She also created presentations for Gianni Versace S.p.A., et al. v. Versace 19.69 Abbigliamento Sportivo Srl, et al., a trademark infringement and unfair competition case in which a CA federal court granted summary judgement and ordered permanent injunction barring the defendant from using the Versace name for commercial purposes.

Before entering the litigation arena, Stacey was an award-winning infographics artist for the Orange County Register, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper. Her infographics covered the current events of the Orange County area of Southern California with visual stories that included investigative reports and breaking news.

Stacey received a BFA from California State Polytechnic University–Pomona. She is a licensed California real estate broker. Outside of work, she devotes time creating mixed media artwork that addresses the social issues of our time.
