Marie-Petra Adams

IMS Vice President of Expert Services Marie-Petra Adams brings more than 30 years of operational leadership and client service experience, as well as 12 years of institutional knowledge, to IMS. She leverages her business acumen to provide strategic direction to the expert witness service line and ensure law firms and in-house legal departments are partnered with the most effective expert witnesses. Her commitment to understanding the nuances and complexities of civil litigation, paired with her deep appreciation of the challenges faced by top legal departments, has made the expert witness service line sought-after by case teams in high-profile cases.

Marie began her career at IMS as a recruiting / lead recruiting consultant (2011–2014). Her appreciation for strategic synergy and conscious collaboration quickly positioned her to hold many leadership positions, including director / manager of recruiting services (2015–2018), vice president / director of client relationships (2018–2022), and vice president of client success (2022–present).

Marie serves as a senior steering leader for IMS’ expert services expansion, including mergers and acquisitions. She has helped lead IMS through significant growth and change, including enterprise-level intelligence, data, and talent integrations. Marie’s involvement in identifying strategic growth opportunities is crucial as she assesses IMS’ needs for specific expertise.

Prior to joining IMS, Marie was vice president of operations for Advantage Credit International, serving mortgage industry clients. She also served as a customer service manager for Metrocall, Inc., which provides paging products and wireless services to business, government, and healthcare sectors.

When not working, Marie can usually be found near the Gulf of Mexico, where she and her husband reside. She also devotes time to her community through the Pensacola Cordova Rotary, where she has served as a member and past president.
